The 760R is an updated version of the popular day sailer/racer Sprint 750 Mk II. The new Corsair 760Rs are hard to come by, and this is Corsair’s ultimate regatta boat! Large open deck, fast and fun. This Corsair 760R has been well-maintained.
Keeping true to the 760 range, the R version offers an identical underwater profile and sail plan; however, it. Features a substantial full-length cockpit at the loss of internal volume and comfort. Unlike the other 760 variants, the R does not offer sleeping accommodations for four in favor of weight savings.
This 760R is set up for a husband and wife team for daysailing, meaning details that make it well suited for short-handed sailing. After four years, the owner raced it for the first time at Nationals this past summer, then decided he would invest in an 880 that we are setting up the same way.

GENERAL
The Corsair 760 R takes the 760 design further up the performance spectrum by extensively using lightweight carbon technologies. However, she keeps the simple and effective sail plan, sail handling features, and folding mechanisms that make the Corsair 760 is easy to manage. This 760 R comes with many improvements such as a carbon fiber bowsprit, composite rudder, rudder case, and tiller. The interior fit-out is lighter on the 760 R than the standard 760. Finally, the 760 R comes with high-performance Aramid (Technora) sails. Both models share the new, improved beam and float design.
